Fans gifted Girls’ Generation’s Sunny with a special message for her 23rd birthday (24th in Korean age). On May 15, SONE’s from Korean portal site, Naver and Daum, bought ad space on some of the leading Korean newspapers to celebrate the star signer/musical star’s special day. Sunny was born on May 15, 1989.The message contained words of appreciation and support for Sunny. It said, “Please continue to be our warm sunshine. Always supporting Girls’ Generation wherever we go, wherever we are, we are the happy SONEs!”
It also added at the end, “[Our wish] We will love Sunny until the day she can slam dunk <3.”
After wrapping promotions for the Girls’ Generation, Sunny has been busy with her musical role in “Catch Me If You Can.” Her Brenda role in the show earned a nomination in the “Best Rookie Actress Award” for the “6th The Musical Awards.”
